The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“ChicagoÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â is a limited edition collaboration between Marcus JordanÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s sneaker boutique and Jordan Brand on Michael JordanÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s iconic first signature shoe. MichaelÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s son MarcusÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s Trophy Room boutique adds a vintage look to the classic ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“ChicagoÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â colorway as an ode to MichaelÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s wearing of the shoe during the 1985 NBA All-Star Game. Memorably Jordan was ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“frozen outÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â at one point in the game by fellow stars Isiah Thomas and Julius Erving who refused to pass him the ball as part of a ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“lessonÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â to teach Jordan then an up-and-coming rookie. Several subtle nods to the ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“freeze outÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â appear on the shoe beginning with the icy texture covering the red leather overlays found on the forefoot eyelets collar and heel. Elsewhere white leather appears on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel. Black shoelaces sit atop the white nylon tongue that features a red nylon tongue tag with ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Nike AirÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â branding. A black leather Swoosh is located on either side and a black ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“WingsÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â emblem can be found on the collar. Michael JordanÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s signature is printed onto the heel above the sail midsole. The translucent blue outsole dons blue and red stars to finish off the look. Release date February 10 2021.
