The Air Jordan 1 ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Sports IllustratedÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â is a special edition colorway of the iconic model inspired by the first cover of Sports Illustrated that Michael Jordan appeared on as a member of the Chicago Bulls. After appearing on the SI cover in college Jordan quickly made the cover as a Bulls rookie in December 1984 with the headline ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“A Star Is Born.ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â The magazine showed Jordan in action against the Milwaukee Bucks and that image inspired this Jordan 1 colorway. The shoe features a black and white leather upper. The green and white embroidered Swooshes with a red border are a reference to the BucksÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢ uniforms. Each pair also comes with three sets of laces in black red and green. The Air Jordan 1 ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Sports IllustratedÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â released on December 27 2018.
