The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Defiant &#8220LA to Chicago&#8221 AKA ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Court PurpleÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â is one of two collaborative colorways released by Nike&#8217s skateboarding division and Jordan Brand in 2019. The unique editions of the Jordan 1 have the leather on the upper painted in one color combination while a second colorway is hidden underneath. The bottom layer can be revealed as the top layer of paint is worn away. This ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Court PurpleÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â edition of the Air Jordan 1 features a purple white and yellow combination that is inspired by a rare original sample of the shoe from 1985 in Los Angeles Lakers team colors. When the top layer is worn off the original ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“ChicagoÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â colorway is revealed underneath. The limited edition Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“LA to ChicagoÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â released on May 25 2019.
