The Air Jordan 1 Mid ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“Banned 2020ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â is a colorway of Michael JordanÃÆ’¢â‚¬â„¢s first signature shoe that draws comparisons to the design of the Nike Air Ship that Jordan was prohibited from wearing in the NBA in 1985. Appearing on the alternate mid-top height of the Jordan 1 the ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“BannedÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â matches the black and red color block of the Air Ship he played in and the original Jordan 1 ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“BredÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â colorway. The design features red leather on the perforated toe eyelets collar and heel. Contrasting black leather detailing can be found on the forefoot mid-panel and collar. Fiery red leather Swoosh branding appears on either side and a black ÃÆ’¢â‚¬Å“WingsÃÆ’¢â‚¬Â logo dots the collar overlay. A black nylon tongue with red accenting on the Jumpman logo on the tag combines with the tonal laces to bring the retro aesthetic together. Release date November 12 2020.
